(3) Overriding legitimate interest as the legal basis
The legal basis for storing the protocol data is Article 6 para. 1 bed. f) GDPR. Their 7-day storage takes place only for the purpose of ensuring the proper operation of the server. This interest in the operational security of the server outweighs any interest in an immediate erasure of the above data. You as a website visitor also have a similar interest in being able to access and use a website as secure as possible.
