| Interior insulation, for example primed insulation tile XPS 7 mm:

The base has to be clean, dry, solid, smooth and able to take a weight. Cut insulation material to size. Apply recommended glue with a toothed spatel in lengths on the entire wall surface. Apply insulation tiles at edges, with grey side towards the wall in the adhesive bed and press it tightly with a rubber roller. Level out the joints with cover strips or spackle and grout corners with acrylic. After drying (24 - 48 h), process the desired surface covering according to manufacturer´s instructions. When using vinyl wallpaper use only special glue that is poor of water.

| Pipe insulation PE, with slits:

Determine the bow radius with a metre rule. Cut pipe insulation with a sharp knife. Close the joints with clips or woven adhesive tape. Use self-adhesive felt tape for hardly accessible parts. For T-formed sections cut a 90° notch and fit in the counterpart with 45° cuts. Close the joints with woven adhesive tape. For angle sections cut the pipe insulation obliquely and put it over the pipe. Close the joints with woven adhesive tape. Alternatively, there are ready-cut corner and T-shaped pieces.
