Subsequent pipe insulation

The insulation of exposed hot-water and heating pipes is a sustainable solution to save money.

The better the insulation is, the lower the heat loss and thus the energy loss. Assuming household averages, you can reduce energy loss by up to 80%.

For tap and heating water pipes there are simply to process pipe insulations made of lightweight polyethylene (PE). Matching pipe insulations are available for all pipe diameters and in different insulation thicknesses. The installation is easy and can be done from any do-it-yourselfer.

As "premium insulation" there is also flexible pipe insulation made of synthetic rubber with self-adhesive function.
